Cancer Specialists is the choice that provides patients with private care and the best opportunity to reclaim

The practice is dedicated to treating private cancer patients, or public patients wanting comprehensive care.

Cancer Specialists was created by five dedicated cancer specialists who wanted to give cancer patients the best hope of a cancer free future by providing the Best Care, in a private environment where multidisciplinary expertise could be integrated with comprehensive care.

The founding specialists and the majority of our multidisciplinary team are based at the world-famous Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in East Melbourne.

We are specialist surgeons, anaesthetic & pain specialists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, specialist nurses, psycho-oncologists and other allied health experts.

Where We Are

Our state-of-the-art facility is located directly opposite Epworth Hospital at 84 Bridge Road, Richmond - close to parking and public transport.

Together with our co-tenants Bridge Road Imaging and Dorevitch Pathologists, our patients now have convenient access to diagnostic facilities all from the one location. CT Scanning, MRI, PET, Ultrasound and Pathology are all close at hand.

Understanding Cancer

Understanding Cancer is a series of resources produced by the Cancer Council for people with cancer, their families and friends.

The series provides easy-to-read information about specific types of cancer, treatments, and emotional and practical issues. It also includes audio-visual materials that can be downloaded or streamed online.
